Rensselaer Adopts Test-Optional Admissions Policy For the Coming Year
Any student who applies to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an undergraduate in the fall of 2021 or the spring of 2022 will be able to choose whether or not to submit SAT or ACT scores. Test Optional FAQ

Admissions Building Named in Honor of Pioneering Alumna
The Admissions Building at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is named in honor of Dr. Nancy Deloye Fitzroy ’49 — the first woman to graduate from the Institute with a degree in chemical engineering — and her husband and fellow engineer, the late Roland V. Fitzroy Jr.
