Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will now allow most applicants to self-report standardized test scores on the application or through the applicant portal, and will only require students to submit official scores during the enrollment process if they decide to attend Rensselaer.
This change will make the process more accessible for students, as they no longer will have to formally request and pay for score reports from testing agencies when they apply. However, students applying to the accelerated medical or law programs still will be required to submit official score reports at the time of application. Official results of English Proficiency Exams (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE) for international students will also be required at the time of application.
