We offer two binding Early Decision options for students who feel that Rensselaer is their first-choice school. If admitted under ED I or ED II, you are committed to enroll at Rensselaer as long as your scholarship meets your needs. The annual deadline for Early Decision I is November 1st, and the deadline for Early Decision II is December 15th.
The Arch is a unique approach for student development and growth that prepares students to meet the multifaceted challenges of the 21st century. The Arch will augment academic and experiential programs, and provide an even more robust and transformative educational experience for undergraduate students.The Arch will be required for the Class of 2021 and beyond.
Varsity Athletic Programs
If you’re interested in playing a varsity sport, you’re strongly encouraged to contact the coach(es) of your specific sport to discuss your interest (not every sport will offer a walk-on tryout).
Aside from our Division I men’s and women’s ice hockey teams, Rensselaer does not offer athletic scholarships.
Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) programs for the Army, Air Force, and US Naval Reserve/ Marine Corps are available only to students who meet the requirements and standards of the particular branch of the armed forces sponsoring the ROTC unit.
