Interviews
Rensselaer will offer optional on-campus interviews throughout the year, weekdays only. Although an interview is not required, we encourage Rensselaer applicants to take advantage of the opportunity to meet and speak with one of our counselors or student interviewers. Through an interview, you may learn more about Rensselaer and what we have to offer, and have a further chance to share additional information about yourself. To register, simply write “interview” in the question box below and a confirmation will be sent to you within two weeks. We do not offer interviews on Saturdays or Sundays.
Overnight Visits
Rensselaer Admissions offers overnight stays for prospective students, which include the opportunity to attend classes/live with a Rensselaer student for a day. You can schedule an overnight visit here by just entering “overnight” in the Questions box on the Online Campus Visit form below.
Overnight accommodations will begin starting September 15th, 2008. Please allow up to two weeks after your request for Rensselaer Admissions to find an appropriate host. Overnight visits are available for high school seniors only, Monday through Thursday nights. It is recommended that visitors bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. Also, visitors should bring spending money, as only one meal ticket will be provided. For more information please call Rensselaer Admissions at (518) 276-6216.
Visiting Days
As you plan your visit, be sure to check out the Admissions Events page for special Visiting Days where we have designed an extended visit schedule with morning and afternoon options. In addition to the information session and campus tour, you'll have the opportunity to attend academic sessions and have lunch with current Rensselaer students.
