Environmental Engineering (B.S. and M.Eng.)

Hometown: Katy, Texas

Internship: I have completed 2 summers as an intern with Wood Group Mustang, a project engineering firm in Houston, Texas.

Activities outside of class: I am a member of the Engineering Ambassadors program where we expose engineering topics to middle school and high school students throughout the Capital Region. As a sister in a sorority, I was a House Manager, Steward, and New Member Educator. Recently, I became a member of the Society of Women Engineers and am assisting with creating a regional conference which will be held at RPI in the fall.

Favorite class: Intro to Environmental Engineering was the first course where I experienced exactly what I would be doing throughout the rest of my coursework as an environmental engineering student.

Favorite things to do in Troy: I love going to the Farmer's Market in downtown on Saturday mornings. With so many new restaurants opening in Troy, I love exploring the new tastes, sounds, and atmospheres downtown.

Anything else you’d like to share: The past four years at RPI have been fun, challenging, rewarding, and I have developed into the person I knew I could always be.
