The Common Application

To apply to Rensselaer as a transfer student via the Common Application, complete the Common Application for Transfer Students and the required Transfer Common Application Supplement [PDF]. We strongly encourage students to apply electronically.

The Universal College Application

To apply to Rensselaer as a transfer student via the Universal College Application, complete the Universal College Transfer Application and Transfer Universal College Application Supplement [PDF]. We strongly encourage students to apply electronically.

Application Fee

The nonrefundable application processing fee is $70. Credit card payment is available for electronic submissions. If you do not wish to pay by credit card, please mail check or money order, payable to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, to the mailing address below. Include your full name and date of birth with your payment. Do not send cash.
